General information
Protecting your personal data is important to me. This website is a private online profile without registration, without a shop and without user accounts. Personal data is only collected where technically necessary or where you actively contact me.
Hosting and server log files
This website is operated by a service provider (host) that delivers the site on my behalf. When the website is accessed, your browser automatically transmits information to the server, which is stored in so-called server log files: IP address (truncated or stored briefly), date and time of access, page accessed, volume of data transferred, referrer URL as well as browser and operating system type.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the technically faultless provision, the security and the optimisation of the website. The data is deleted automatically after a short period unless a security-related analysis is required. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host.
Cookies and local storage
This website stores a technically necessary entry in your browser's local storage recording your decision on the cookie notice, so that it does not reappear on every visit. The legal basis for this is § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
In addition, cookies for reach measurement with Google Analytics are only set after your explicit consent (§ 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Without consent, no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookies are stored. You can delete local storage content and cookies at any time in your browser settings.
Web analytics with Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-4XKHKN6JVH), a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to evaluate the use of this website. The data collected includes in particular a truncated IP address, time and duration of the visit, pages accessed, referrer URL as well as browser, device and approximate location information (country/region).
IP anonymisation is enabled and advertising features (Google Signals, personalised advertising) are disabled. The data is not combined with other Google services for advertising purposes.
The legal basis for the processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. The analytics script is only loaded after you have agreed in the cookie notice. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Google. A transfer of personal data to the USA to Google LLC cannot be ruled out; it takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the EU Commission of 10 July 2023) and additionally on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses. There is a risk that US authorities may access the data.
Usage and event data is retained in Google Analytics for a maximum of 14 months; afterwards it is deleted automatically. Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy. You can also prevent collection using the browser add-on to disable Google Analytics.
Current status: no decision made yet
After withdrawal, analytics cookies that have already been set are deleted; the effect applies immediately to future page views.
Contact by email
If you contact me by email, your details (email address, name, content of the message) are processed for the purpose of handling your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (responding to enquiries) or Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry is aimed at a contract.
The data is deleted as soon as the matter has been concluded and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
External links and embedded content
This website contains links to external profiles (including LinkedIn and XING). These are only called up when you click them; no data is transferred to the respective providers beforehand. The operators of the linked pages are solely responsible for data processing on those pages.
To display company logos in the career section, favicon graphics are loaded via a service provided by Google (Google Ireland Ltd., Dublin). Your IP address is transmitted to Google in the process. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (appealing and resource-efficient presentation).
No advertising, no profiling
No advertising networks, no social media plugins and no profiling for advertising purposes are used. Automated decision-making, including profiling, does not take place. Reach measurement is carried out exclusively to the extent described above and only with your consent.
Your rights
You have the right at any time to:
- access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- object to the processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
- withdraw consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
An email to sasha@justmann.tech is sufficient to exercise your rights.
Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstr. 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.
SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by "https://" in your browser's address bar.
Satisfaction surveys (Net Promoter Score / NPS)
To continuously improve our content and offering, we occasionally run satisfaction surveys (Net Promoter Score) via our email newsletter and within our reader portal. If you take part in a survey, we process your rating (scale 0–10), your optional free-text feedback, and your user ID for attribution and statistical analysis. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in quality assurance and improving our offering (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). To avoid asking you more than once in quick succession, we store the date of your last survey for a maximum of 90 days.
Currency of this policy
This privacy policy will be adapted as soon as changes to the website or to legal requirements make this necessary.
